There are a number of ways to launch the feedback tool even after disabling the link… the most obvious is the big icon right on the desktop… but you might have deleted that already.

You can just type “feedback” into the search box, and launch the tool from there…

Or you can find it in the control panel.

On this post i will write on how to remove the ugly Send Feedback link in the upper right-hand of every window.

Take a look at this screenshot if you dont sure what we are talking about :

Open up regedit.exe through the start menu search box, and then browse down to the following key :

Once there, find the FeedbackToolEnabled key on the right-hand side, and change the value to 0.

To revert it back, change the value to 3 again.

Reset the keyboard dictionary

Choose General > Reset and tap Reset Keyboard Dictionary.

You add words to the keyboard dictionary by rejecting words iPhone suggests as you type. Tap a suggested word to reject it and add your word to the keyboard dictionary. Resetting the keyboard dictionary erases all words you’ve added.

Reset Network Settings

Choose General > Reset and tap Reset Network Settings.

This week I’ve experienced a problem with Firefox after the updated they have been pushing. I was unable to cut, copy and paste from Firefox. I couldn’t copy URL’s, text from web pages or anything. I started Firefox in Safe Mode and the problem was gone. It appears that my StumbleUpon Add-on was causing the issue. Once I disabled it, the problem went away when I started Firefox in normal mode.

I have been regularly running into these problems with Firefox lately. I would blame the add-on developers, but other plug-ins have stopped working with each Firefox update. It’s starting to influence me to switch back to IE.

Disable all your add-on’s and restart ff then one by one re-able them and restart ff find out which one is causing the problem

You can boot your T-Mobile G1 Google phone into Safe Mode if you wish to troubleshoot whether or not added applications are causing problems with the device. This mode will only load basic software.

1. Power the device off.
2. Power the device on.
3. Right after the G1 screen appears, press and hold the Menu button. Keep holding it until you are booted up completely. Safe Mode should appear in the lower-left corner.

When Firefox performs a search from the Address Bar, it queries the search engine string you have setup within Firefox. If it’s using Yahoo, you can switch to Google. Don’t like Google? Use Ask. Here’s how to switch which search engine Firefox searches when you use the address bar to search.

2. Locate and double-click the entry for keyword.URL

3. Set the value based on which search provider you would like to use for your address bar searches. Here are a few search strings you can use.
