Code Named Karmic Koala, Ubuntu 9.10 will be officially launched on October 2009. Developer version of Ubuntu 9.10 are expected to be presented during Ubuntu Developer Summit on May 25th.

New features for Ubuntu 9.10 includes brand new interface and changes on Usplash. The developers also planned to decrease the boot time for netbook to twenty four seconds or below. Interesting new log in screen will also be introduced as well as no problems will be faced for netbook remix user.
